What are the benefits of using MoneyPlan?
Face to face meeting - One of our team of experienced advisors will visit you and assess your situation with you. We don’t expect you to discuss your finances over the telephone or take details over the internet.
One monthly payment - You will only have to make one affordable monthly payment, regardless of the number of creditors you may have.
No hassle - All communications and negotiations with your creditors will be dealt with by your personal Case Manager.
Interest and charges frozen - Once you establish a regular payment plan with your creditors, they have the confidence to reduce or eliminate interest and late payment charges.
Business debts - For business customers, we also deal with trade creditors.

Do I have to borrow more money from MoneyPlan to pay off my debts?
No, we do not lend you any more money and we don't pay off your debts for you. Our financial management plan allows you to pay your debts at a rate you can comfortably afford. |

Will I need to inform my creditors that MoneyPlan will be acting on my behalf?
No, once you have given us all of your details and we have all the latest account information, we will be able to deal with your creditors directly. We will contact your creditors and confirm that the information you have given us is correct. Then they will be aware that Moneyplan will be dealing with your financial matters. We also then request all further communications to be through Moneyplan, removing the stress and worry for you.

How will I know my creditors are being paid?
You will receive an itemised statement every month. This will clearly itemise money received from you and how much each creditor has been paid on your behalf. Furthermore you will normally continue to receive statements from your creditors. |

Who do I need to contact if I have any questions concerning my finances?
Each of our customers has their own personal Case Manager. If you have any questions, you will be able to discuss matters with them directly. |

Will this affect my credit rating?
If you are experiencing debt problems it is a possibility that one or more of your creditors may record information concerning this on the listings held by credit reference agencies such as Equifax and Experian. Information may be on your file already if you are, or ever have been, behind with your payments. If you opt to ignore your problems, hoping that they will sort themselves out, the credit reference agencies will almost certainly be informed. |

What happens if a creditor contacts me?
Simply forward any correspondence to us. If you get a telephone call, ask the caller to phone MoneyPlan, and speak to your personal Case Manager. Any calls or letters will usually cease once a regular payment system has been established. |

What happens if I want to stop working with MoneyPlan?
You have the option to cease using MoneyPlan at any time but you would lose all of the advantages the programme provides including a single monthly payment, lowering your total monthly payments, lowering or eliminating interest, and avoiding unpleasant collection calls. |
